A Tom Fazio Signature Design
Considered to be one of the best course designers in the world today, Tom Fazio has sculpted the 7,091-yard, Par 71, 18-hole Valley Course into the high mountain desert topography of the Cordillera Valley Club. The primarily southern exposure and low elevation allows this spectacular course to remain open for an extended playing season.
Located just 15 minutes from the Lodge, Red Sky Ranch Golf Club features two signature courses designed by some of the best in golf. Tom Fazio and Greg Norman have each sculpted a piece of Colorado into an alpine playground that rewards your highest expectations. The courses are separated by a massive ridge, which serves as wildlife migration corridor for deer and elk. Great care was taken to preserve the natural landscape, including transplanting or re-vegetation of more than 25,000 native plants during the construction of the Tom Fazio golf course alone. Approximately 80 acres of sod was applied to each course, reducing the amount of fertilizer necessary for seed grow-in, which protected the nearby Eagle River from silt erosion, which common when seed is used. Both courses have breath-taking views and are registered as Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries.
Two masterful courses weave through 800 acres of historic ranchlands filled with sage, aspen groves, and spectacular mountain vistas. These courses were voted #2 and #3 in the State of Colorado and are mountain courses that are unforgettable.
A Hale Irwin Signature Design
